At Heavenly Dove Academy, our faith is not simply something we add to education—it is the foundation from which we teach, serve, and make decisions. We seek to honor Christ in all that we do and to faithfully align our teaching and practices with the Word of God.
These biblical truths form the foundation of Heavenly Dove Academy and guide how we approach education, our students, and the families we are privileged to serve.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, God-breathed and written by men who were inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. We hold to the whole counsel of Scripture as true and authoritative, and seek to make our decisions, teaching, and practices in accordance with God’s Word.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105; John 17:17; Acts 20:27We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct Persons, one divine essence.
Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–3; John 10:30; 2 Corinthians 13:14We believe God created the heavens and the earth good and perfect in six real days and rested on the seventh. We believe humanity was uniquely created in the image and likeness of God, for relationship with Him and to reflect His character.
Genesis 1:1, 26–31; Genesis 2:1–3; Exodus 20:11We believe Adam and Eve were created for fellowship with God but disobeyed His command through the deception of the serpent. Through this disobedience, sin and death entered the human experience, separating humanity from fellowship with God.
Genesis 2:16–17; Genesis 3:1–24; Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21–22We believe God did not abandon humanity after the Fall. From the beginning, He revealed His plan of redemption, promising the One who would defeat the serpent and restore what had been lost.
Genesis 3:15, 21; Isaiah 53:4–6; Galatians 4:4–5We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, truly God and truly man. He came in the flesh, died for our sins, was buried, and bodily rose from the dead, defeating sin and death and reconciling us to the Father.
John 1:1, 14; Romans 5:8–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Colossians 1:19–22We believe salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation cannot be earned by our own works; our hope rests in what Christ has accomplished for us.
John 3:16; Romans 3:23–26; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7We believe those who belong to Christ are made new. In Christ, we are called to be dead to sin and alive to God, no longer living as slaves to sin but walking in the new life He gives.
Romans 6:4–14; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20We believe good works do not earn salvation, but genuine faith bears good fruit. A life rooted in Christ should increasingly reflect Him through love, obedience, holiness, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 7:16–20; John 15:4–5; Galatians 5:22–23; Ephesians 2:10; James 2:17At Heavenly Dove Academy, these beliefs shape more than what we teach. They shape how we teach, how we serve families, how we encourage students, and how we understand the purpose of education. Our desire is to partner with parents as children grow in wisdom, develop their God-given abilities, learn to think carefully, and become equipped to stand on their faith and walk in their purpose.
